¶ TROY Anderson is leading the Bulletin’s footy tipping competition at the halfway point of the season but it is a close-run affair.
Mr Anderson, of T.R. Anderson Painting, holds a one-point lead in what has been a frequently unpredictable season, making it a difficult task for tippers from one round to the next.
Community Bank Collie’s Suzanne Barrett is sitting in second ahead of the Crown’s Jason Stanley and Floorworld Collie’s Lisa Malatesta.
But there is still plenty of time for all tipsters to make up ground.
Mr Anderson said he has been tipping with his heart and his head.
“It all depends on who is playing,” he said.
He expects the competition to go down to the wire.
“Especially when it’s so close, anybody could catch up in one or two rounds,” he said.
