¶ AN INVESTIGATION into a ram raid and unsuccessful attempt to steal an ATM at Collie Central Shopping Centre in the early hours of Sunday morning is ongoing.
Bunbury detectives are continuing their inquiries after offenders used a white Isuzu truck to gain entry, smashing doors at the Harvey Street side of the centre at around 3.30am.
Video of the incident shows the truck backing through the doors, leaving a trail of debris and shattered glass.
It is then manoeuvred inside the centre as the offenders target the ATM machine.
Attempts to drag the machine with heavy-duty strapping are unsuccessful and the truck exits the building.
Police advised that the truck was subsequently located burnt out at Collie Cemetery around 5am.
Detectives are urging anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
